How does the watercraft work?
The electric craft lifts out of the water on hydrofoils and glides almost silently without a wake. It fits two adults plus luggage, shopping or a bike and is designed to be used intuitively without prior experience; according to the company, no licence is required. Small modular hubs connect the water to the rest of urban transport. The company says the system can significantly cut urban travel times and lower lifecycle emissions.

Float Mobility is built by a team of engineers, designers and entrepreneurs. The craft was nominated for the UX Design Awards 2024 for its user-centred design.
